You are here because, in one form or another, you like books. And, unless you have been living under a rock, you’ve heard about Amazon. One of Amazon’s ways of getting people who read to read even more, is through their Kindle Unlimited program. This allows you, the reader, to read as many books as you like for a fixed monthly fee, while authors are getting paid via the number of pages of their books that have been read during the month.
While there is some critique of the program and not all titles are available through it (it does require ebook exclusivity with Amazon), for a lot of smaller indie authors this is a decent option to getting read and getting paid. It takes some of the risk from the reader (don’t have to buy the book, just read as much as you want for free), and helps authors in reaching potential audience.
So a bunch of us indie authors have decided to band together and cross-promote each other through the KU program. This effort is led by Brian Rella, and is targeting the genres of Dark Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Horror, Thrillers, and Suspense – genres which, if you’ve read anything I write and are still talking to me, you probably enjoy.
If you’re here, you’ve probably already read Murder In Absentia (and if not, this is a gentle reminder kick to start). I urge you to register with Kindle Unlimited (you don’t need a Kindle device – any phone or tablet will run the app), and head out to Brian Rella’s Free KU Reads promo page, to find yourself some cool new fantasy / thrillers from indie authors you might not have heard about yet.
If you need me, I’ll over there, reading.
I’m already registered for several months, but not getting traffic (I think it looks like one person read one of the books a few months ago) Is there an additional secret? By the way… love your story and can’t wait for the next one… Mary

Thanks for the kind words 😊
No secret. I concentrate on reaching my audience, and leave the choice of format to them (paperback, ebook, KU).
