This site is dedicated to my Three-Rs: Reading, Writing, and Romans. You’re probably on this page due to the first bit.
When Felix isn’t twisting my ear with his memoirs, I read. A lot. And then I blog about it. You can see what I read by looking at my book reviews. Since my to-read pile is already longer than my life expectancy, I tend to be capricious: I read whatever catches my fancy at the moment. I hop genres and themes like a rabbit with ADHD, with occasional year-long binges when I find something really good.
My main genres are Fantasy in most its sub-genres, Historical Fiction (mostly Roman, mostly mysteries, almost never romance), Mysteries & Detectives, Science Fiction, and just any thing else I find engaging. I particularly love mash-ups (as can be gleaned from what I write: an historical-fantasy detective).
If you want me to read your book, bear in mind the following:
- I read capriciously, so it might take me time to get to it
- Life is too short for books I don’t enjoy. If I don’t like something, I quietly move on
- I’ll only review what I liked enough to finish reading
- My reviews will be posted here, on Amazon, and on Goodreads, in this format. Read this post!
If you’re still keen, fill in the below contact form. I also suggest you take a look at my other project, The Protagonist Speaks. It’s a separate blog dedicated to interviewing character out of books. It’s a fun, free way to get some unique exposure for your writing.
