Some media appearances of late πŸ™‚

I was interviewed by Bryan Aiello for his Origin: Stories on Creativity series. We had a really fun discussion about writing, history, creativity, and everything in between. Bryan is a wonderful host, and it a lively discussion:

For those who prefer the written word, I was interviewed on Kelly Smith Reviews blog. She had some interesting questions. Here’s an excerpt, but you’ll have to follow the link to learn three things you probably never knew about me (and maybe never wanted to either – but I can hardly be blamed for that!)

6. What would you do if you were your main character?

Try not to die. He does that a lot, too (I know – I put him there). Felix is a paranormal detective, in a rather harsh setting. I think I might take his knowledge of magic and retire to the country. Or better yet, try and find my way back to our own time. Say what you will about ancient Rome, I do love my running water and modern medicine.

Mary R. Woldering was kind enough to recently host both me and Felix. My interview is way at the bottom on this post. Felix’s interview can be found here. Curious about what you’ll find? Here’s a bit from Felix:

How would you describe yourself?

In the best of terms. The trick is to get others to use those terms too.

What are you obsessed with?

Despite what Assaph may have led you to believe, I am not obsessed with food, fish sauce, or free meals in general. It’s just that, growing up where and how I did, one does tend to appreciate a hot meal.

Neither am I obsessed with money. I just like to be paid at the end of the day, same as everyone else.
